OCR640 full-page multi-illumination desktop readers for ePassports and eID Cards
The OCR640e Desktop is a full-page, multi-illumination ePassport reader. It captures ultraviolet and infrared images as well the full page of a passport in colour.
The OCR640 automatically detects when a document with machine readable data has been presented. Additionally, it is able to compensate for out-of-position MRZ data, so that the advanced recognition engine reliably provides highly accurate and very fast document reading capability, allowing large volumes of documents and smart cards to be processed quickly and efficiently.
In a simultaneous single action the reader also decodes the machine readable zone (MRZ) and processes RFID data – including the holder’s image – from the chip.

User Feedback for Intuitive Operation
The unit features blue, amber, green and red LEDs to inform the user of status: ready to scan, processing, successful scan; or to indicate an issue with the document. The unit can be programmed to provide audible feedback to confirm a successful read, signal premature removal of a document and flag a variety of data details.

OCR601-Mk2 ePassport Reader
Half-Page MRZ reader for passports, ID cards and contactless cards
The OCR601-MK2 is a machine readable zone (MRZ) data reader with RFID functionality, to simultaneously decode the contents of an ePassport or contactless smart card.
The OCR601-MK2 automatically detects when a document with machine readable data has been inserted and its advanced recognition engine provides highly accurate and instant data capture and decoding.
Simultaneous Captures and Processes
By integrating the contactless RFID reader/writer the device simultaneously and efficiently captures and processes data fields, including the holder’s image, from the chip. This combined functionality provides a robust and cost-effective alternative to full-page, multi-illumination ID scanners such as the ATOM® Document Reader.

OCR316e Combined OCR and MSR Reader
Very compact and robust OCR passport & ID card readers with MSR functionality
The OCR316e is a compact and robust OCR reader. It can simply be attached to a variety of handheld and ultra mobile PCs, tablets, standard desktop keyboards and monitors, or act as standalone units as part of the data capture process, such as Know Your Customer, age verification and airport check-in. The interface connection is via USB. The track length and single slot design are optimised to ensure that passports and ID cards are correctly aligned for consistent and accurate reading.

Easy To Use...Swipe in Either Direction
The bidirectional reader can read machine-readable passports (MRP), visas (MRV), US and international residence permits as well as European and other national ID cards conforming to ICAO 9303 & ISO/IEC 7501-1 (2 and 3-line MRZ). It will also read the new ISO/IEC 18013-1 driving licences (1-line MRZ), so is future-proofed.

It also integrates a three-track MSR and is able to read credit and debit cards, loyalty cards and frequent flyer cards.
